An Emmy Award winner for “Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series” for Hacks and Carol has six previous Emmy nominations for her writing on Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, Saturday Night Live, and The Oscars. She was a Writer/Producer on the final season of Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm. She also appears in Showtime’s More Funny Women of A Certain Age standup special. Carol is also the Emmy-nominated writer of the recent NBC special, Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter & Love. She has written for The Oscars ten times, more than any other female writer to date. Most impressively, among her many honors is the prestigious Writer’s Guild Award for her writing on television’s classic comedy, Modern Family. Carol has five TV comedy specials of her own that have aired on HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central, Carol holds the record (an unbelievable 25 times) for the most appearances on Late Show with David Letterman.
