Playwright and lead singer for Jazzy Ash & The Leaping Lizards collaborates with the star of The Color Purple, Hamilton and Peter and the Starcatcher as they develop the new juke joint centered production Yellow Root. 

A legendary leading lady on the boards of Broadway who originated the role Nina Rosario in In The Heights, played Elphaba in Wicked, Angela Schyler in Hamilton and Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard.  

Marja has played all three Schuyler sisters: Angelica, Eliza and Peggy on the National Tour of Hamilton. She starred as Nala on the National Tour of The Lion King and in the Broadway companies of The Book Of Mormon and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
